Why Solution?
Teenagers, students, graduates, professionals or entrepreneurs all around the world hold the intention, passion, potential and the vision of a more sustainable future. But how to get started? We know that turning intention to action, growing the ideas and realizing the envisioned impact takes a long and challenging journey.
We agree, it does. And yet believe, it might just take a new kind of experience to get us started right away – an experience we seek to create at “Solution”. By bringing together people on different paths and points in their initiative to improve our communities, we support the creation and increased impact of social businesses that can shape a more sustainable future.
A unique and unconventional conference, Solution is an inspiring learning platform and a truly innovative setting that enables young people from across the world to add clarity, confidence, capability and courage to their pursuit of making a difference in society. First hosted in 2006 in Austria, “Solution” until now has engaged around 300 selected participants and over 60 reputable guests and partners. Our next journey will start for the first time in Romania from the 23rd to 26th of September 2010 in Bran.

Date and location
Solution is a 4 day conference that will take place in Bran, Romania from 23rd to 26th of September 2010. The conference site is Wolf Hotel, close to the legendary Bran castle. For activities and hosting, both Wolf 1 and Wolf 2 will be used and also the open space around the venue.

Application process
The conference has limited places and every applicant will pass through a selection process in order to ensure that Solution is a qualitative and relevant experience for each of the delegates. The application process means:
• completing and submitting the application form.
• an ongoing selection process with feed-back submitted by the conference team in maximum 3 working days from the moment we receive your application form.
We offer a maximum of 90 participant spots on the principle of first come, first in.
Terms and conditions
The participation fee for the conference includes full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee breaks) and accommodation in Wolf Hotel (two-bed rooms, 4 and 3 star rated) throughout the entire four-day conference as well as all the learning materials.
Participation fee is 220 EUR for individual contributors and 350 EUR for company supported fees;
We offer a subsidy for student participants, thus the student fee is 130 EUR (upon submission of student registration).
There is also a discount for roPot members of 15% out of the regular fee.
After receiving the confirmation from our team, payment should be made until September 4th in the following accounts:

Please note the cancellation fees: 0% until four weeks before, 25% between four and two weeks before, 50% between two and one week(s) before, 100% from less than one week before.
