Would you like to be considered as a speaker for TEDxBled, on 18 March in Slovenia, costs covered? Are you between 18 and 30 and have a project or an idea that can Inspire, Change, Impact?
TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.
At TEDx events, a screening of TEDTalks videos -- or a combination of live presenters and TEDTalks videos -- sparks deep conversation and connections. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.
What is TEDxBLED
TEDxBled is a TEDx event that will take place on 18 March 2012 in Bled, Slovenia. The theme is Inspire.Change.Impact. The selected young speakers coming from 10 different countries are going to inspire you to drive change and make an impact by sharing different innovations, sustainable ideas, social projects and the impact they’ve made. That’s what TEDxBled is all about. Join us!
Your Task
Imagine yourself on the TEDxBled stage. All eyes are on you. You are passionately speaking about the idea that inspires you, that changes the status-quo and makes an impact. We're looking for your personal stories and experiences. Give us a glimpse of your speech. Post a video of yourself speaking about your idea. It has to be between 1 and 3 minutes, in English, presenting and giving us a preview of your idea or project. The video should not exceed the time limit, have a clear sound and image. The video should present you delivering the speech.

Judging and Evaluation Criteria
In order to select the two best ideas and projects, Judges will look for:
- Relevant idea or project for TEDxBled theme: Inspire.Change.Impact
- Innovativeness, creativity and passion for your idea/project
- Quality of delivering the speech/presentation.
- Presentation skills and level of English

Deadline: 6 February, 2 PM CET
6 February to 12 February – Judging period
13 February – Winners announced
18 March 2012 – TEDxBled
Awards
Top two ideas/projects will be selected to complete the array of global speakers for TEDxBled on 18 March 2012. The winners are going to have expenses covered, including accommodation, meals, local transporation, visa (if needed) and 50% of flight costs.
Bonus: Each of the two winners will receive full participation at the Challenge: Future Summit 2012, 16-22 March 2012 in Bled and Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Eligilibity
All applicants need to be 18-30 years old. Student status is not required. All applicants need to be registered on C:F platform in order to apply.
Re-submission
